Tennis, Anyone?

With the 2020 ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) and WTA (Women’s Tennis Association) Tour commencing, January has become an exciting beginning for the pros. Throughout the weeks of January players primarily spent their time in Australia, with the widely competitive grand slam Australian Open tournament happening towards the end of January. With tournaments like the Adelaide International and ASB Classic, players were given the opportunity to have match play before the elusive event, since it’s every tennis player’s dream to win a grand slam championship. Credit is due to the winners of the Adelaide International and ASB Classic, with Andrey Rublev winning the Adelaide International and Ugo Humbert winning the ASB Classic. A massive congratulations to Novak Djokovic on capturing this year’s Australian Open, winning his 8th Australian Open over Dominic Thiem in a five-set thriller. Surely with January ending and February already beginning, the fans will be in for a treat this 2020 ATP and WTA season.
